It all started in Manchester in 2001 when Antoine Katbe; and Dr. Vivek Koncherry met at the University of Manchester where they were majoring in Textile, Technology and Management.
Both coming from families that worked in textiles and sharing a strong passion for high end textile products, they decided to use their production facilities and their creative departments to create distinguished products that are high quality and affordable. After they started getting good reviews from their families and friends they decided to share their products with everyone.
Having the same business values & ethics made them build their business around their common interest for sustainability and the well-being of their community, therefore gender equality is highly considered in the work place and housewives are given the opportunity to provide for their families whilst working from home away from the hard labor conditions that most factories impose, hence a small part of every housewife’s home was equipped with the sewing machinery needed to do the job. Dr. Koncherry and Mr. Katbe truly believe that empowering their female workers and offering them the life balance they need, motivates them to put their heart into their work.
In 2020, Antoine and Vivek joined forces with Bechara Aoun, a successful restaurant owner in London who has a strong background in management, sales, and marketing and started FABRICS AND TOWELS LTD.
As young entrepreneurs, our vision is to become the market leaders in providing distinguished quality textile products that become a part of our customers' daily lives.
